Next round of emails to the faculty senate need to ask why these questions couldn't be asked and answered in public.

Watts is trying to cobble together a coalition to avoid a no confidence vote. I am no expert on academic politics, but can Watts promise stuff like increased funding and support?

Why I waited until the last minute to send mine. Working on it right now and I am adding this part.

Because if questions were asked in the public everyone would know. This is damage control trying to keep the TIDE from drowning him and his ill conceived decision to destroy athletics from defining his legacy

"Watts was "shocked" over 9 page report; UAB football was murdered over a "shocking" 9 page report done over a year? Who did the analysis? A 9 year old with a crayon. Let me guess what this burnt sienna colored report said:

Page 1 - Shoot football in head with rifle.
Page 2 - Choke bowler with football in mouth.
Page 3 - Whack rifle in head with bowling ball.
Page 4 - Stick figures showing page 1.
Page 5 - Stick figures showing page 2.
Page 6 - Stick figures showing page 3.
Page 7 - Stick figure of George Washington riding a grizzly bear.
Page 8 - Scribble that looks like something Salvidore Dali threw up.
Page 9 - Can not be read due to grape juice box spill all over it."

A 9 page report wiped out all that history, fond memories and camaraderie? Son of a *****....

Watts is a politician handling a political situation so he can "promise the moon" to whomever is willing to buy into his position. Delivery on political promises is never guaranteed.

Someone has brought the hammer to the Carr report. Print this out and show it to faculty.

the carr report exposed

It may help. But I don't think academics are going to be overly impressed with a blogger whose report is titled: "Screw the Math"

He can try. This is an extremely desperate move, and it shows that the pressure is working.

It should be titled, "The Math is Wrong."

Stop worrying about the damn title; It's the content that matters. Hell, the Carr report had a fine title but the content was bull****.

But if we had a vote on the title it should be, " Ray watts is a ******* liar and Carr publishes hack job reports. Here is the math to prove it."

Carr deserves to suffer as well. I hope their reputation takes a big hit

Small crowd. Maybe 10. Good media representation tho. Saw Alan Collins with Fox 6, WIAT, and another.

10 people? Sounds like Watts' support has evaporated.

High school classes are now using their report as an example of how NOT to do something.

Pretty sure that is referring to the number of people in front of the building protesting. The meeting was closed to the public and the media were not allowed in.
