It wouldn't surprise me. The Verbal Commits site does list Chapel Hill as his hometown.

I'm hopeful of seeing the day when he has his Under Armor collegiate jersey retired and hanging from the rafters of the TED in his home town of Norfolk. Now that would be sweet forever for him, his family, his friends, and for ODU.

Judging by what coach Jones has been bringing in recently, I don't have much doubt that he would have plenty of talent on the court with him at ODU.

SJK now has offers from UNC and Kentucky.

Matt would be huge, I think he stays within a 3 hour drive of the 757. He could be the Home Town hero for sure if he stays home.

Obviously different classes, but it would be incredible to see some alley-oops from Coleman to Bam! Sell them to each other and get them both on board.

ODU has offered Randy Haynes he's a 6-5, JuCo guard. He played with Trey Porter at Potomac HS. Trey and Randy were two of the key components on a state championship team. In the attached video Trey is #15 and Randy is #12. Saw them play twice, Randy is not and spot up shooter. What he does is finish well through contact and plays with a high motor.
