Let's be careful about expecting too much out of a true freshman. I am as excited as anyone, but sometimes it takes some time to adjust.

+1. In CUSA, 6'1 guards aren't going to see many opportunities to dunk like that. I've seen quite a few of his impressive dunks but I'm not sure how much that will translate. He is extremely athletic for a point guard though.

Here is the thing. Looks like Caver will be able to penetrate and if he can't get his shot off in there, he will have the option to dish off to a 7'1" center that should be able to finish the play off, or kick it out to someone wide open that can score.

Caver looks more aggressive around the basket. He isn't shooting floaters. He will get to the freethrow line alot.

Bethel 6'11 2017 C DeJour Dickens has offers from VA Tech, ODU, UVA, Memphis, Delaware St, Temple, Hampton, Indiana, Creighton. #VaHoops

We got two offers on the Bethel team, Dickens and Bacote both '17. They'll be at Oscar Smith tonight @ 7, they've been on a tear.

Cam Bacote had 25pts tonight, Dickens had 5. We had coaches at the game.

I would love to have another Bacote. Aaron has proven incredibly valuable and resilient and would welcome his younger brother with open arms.

If we could get both Dickens and Bacote, that would be incredible.

JJ and staff had Kyonze Chavis, 2016 Norfolk Collegiate 6' 6 shooting guard, as a "guest" at last night's game.

Dickens sounds like just what we need. There is some stiff competition for his talents though.

Speaking of family connections, what about EJ Sherod's kid? A 4 -star SG out of Richmond--he was mentioned in the chat on Friday. Rivals has him as a top 150 recruit.

His offers are App State, Richmond, ECU, Drexel, and more on that level. I'm surprised we aren't in on him, but it might have to do with position and need.

Yup. I used to see EJ play in HS. we were both freshman at the same time. I'm gettin old. Or less young perhaps.
