No, it doesn't mean anything. Different teams different strengths/weaknesses.

Of course, by the transitive property, Georgia Southern beat NMSU by 8. So did Texas State. So we are on the same level, right?

But the Cajuns destroyed us on home turf, so by the transitive property of us being the same as you guys, you would be destroyed by the Cajuns.

See how it doesn't work?

There won't be a SOS asterisk on the Eagles' trophy should they win out.

Run a long. That's what we do; better than any one in the country.

The last time GS played a team with a winning record was in September.

Records of GS opponents: 25-53
Records of UL opponents: 41-26

Come at us when you actually play someone good.

For the sake of the Sun Belt, I hope the "best team" is better than a 3 point come from behind win at home versus GaSt.

Or just has one win against a team with a winning record.....continue circle jerk with rest of you fans...

We've been winning for 30 years, not 3 like the Cajuns. And we finished FCS with a win over Florida. And before you knock what we did in FCS, just note we are a couple of plays away from being in the lead for the G5 access bowl. And that is with what is basically a FCS team as we just started transitioning.

Small time football.......

Navy down 3 to Notre Dame with 4:00 to go. That will be a good test for Ga Southern.

If they run the table, they will be champion unless UL runs the table. Until we lose and they win it, they don't deserve anything because you say so on a fan board.
Don't they share with you if you both run the table?

Of course, but then the discussion about their SOS is legitimate! Sorry, but one win over a team with a winning record don't impress me.

So far against common opponents:

Ga Southern 28 @ USA 6
ULL 19 @USA 9

Ga Southern 69 @ GaSt 31
GaSt 21 @ ULL 24 (game winning last minute TD drive by ULL)
Those stats and a nickel and you will have 5 cents.

The Bobcats just need to beat them bad, since they like margin of victories. That way we won't have to hear anything at the end of the season except how many FCS championships they won

Sadly, I can guarantee that will NEVER happen.

A win next week, and the Cats will be bowl eligible. It's always nice to be bowl eligible ..... Especially if that win comes against a team with over the top obnoxious fans. 05-stirthepot

I promise you I never assume that we will beat any team, especially in the SBC. Football is a funny game, like they say, "That's why they play the game".

I think any team can beat any other team in the SBC on a given day

Come to beautiful San Marvelous. Enjoy yourselves. Not sure why you called it a "new stadium," if memory serves we hosted y'all in '05 ...... .. Though, considering the results, I can understand your memory loss .... . 04-cheers

I don't care what our oppositions record or standing is in the conference. We will be lucky if we can go unbeaten the rest of the season even though it is the bottom of the conference that we have left to play.

We need to add another team so we can have a championship game. Then there won't be any doubt who the SBC champion is.

You never know if you will have injuries. I know not having Jamal Robinson this year and Broadway getting hurt for our final two games last year with a broken arm hurt us. Because of that broken arm, I don't think he can throw as good as the last two years.

True, and based on what I've seen of y'all, you could also win out . . . . Though I'm really hoping you drop that little ol'game next week. . . .
