Contrary to what it may sound like, I'm not trying to play down the Cajuns, but rather deter any schedule talk about the Eagles' championship share. The Eagles are a damn good team and we were worse off in our game vs. them.

Until yall win 3 consecutive bowl games, win three outright conference championships, and beat UL and Ark St., yall can't say yall are the best team in the Sunbelt. GS has been here 6 months and already world beaters.

That is what GS will have to accomplish before I say they are the best team in the Sunbelt. That's what the top tier of this conference has done in the past three seasons. It still an open discussion between Ark St fans and UL fans on who the best team is in the Sunbelt.

Actually Brandon Bridges missed some wide open receivers and folds like a cheap lawn chair when pressured. Floyd throws the football much better than Bridges. So had Bridges stayed in, the long pass play would have never happened and the Cajuns would have probably beaten South worse. Floyd is a much better passer period.

We've been winning for 30 years, not 3 like the Cajuns. And we finished FCS with a win over Florida. And before you knock what we did in FCS, just note we are a couple of plays away from being in the lead for the G5 access bowl. And that is with what is basically a FCS team as we just started transitioning.

We still have two games to play....but you almost lost to Ga state and struggled with USA. We handled both easily. Does that mean nothing? We played both of them on the road.

I agree that GS has a great program. I know yall history yall have 6 national titles at the FCS level. Cajuns never in it's 116 year history never played FCS ball. No one is taking away GS history. I am just saying this is your first year in the Sunbelt, this is what other teams have done while in this conference. I hold GS to the same standards .

No, but neither do the scores of those games. Your scheduling was a smart move for your first season in the FBS. But sorry, your strength of schedules is terrible. You've beaten one team with winning record period. Now I will congratulate you if you run the table and win a share or outright, but please spare me the common opponent argument because all things are not equal when it comes to SOS.

You right, that means NOTHING. The only thing that means anything is wins and losses. Should teams start running the scores up on other teams to be able to say we beat them by more points than you did

Some teams just match up better against other teams. The Cajuns struggled last year against Georgia State. Some teams get more fired up when they are playing a top team and in some games the opposing coach had a great game plan. Some teams just has the other teams number every year, where they play there best game even though they are in the bottom of the standings

Georgia State played alot harder than any othe SBC team I've seen this year. No turnovers. Then you never know which referee crew you'll get. One thing you will learn is the SBC has the worse referees in the nation.
