So someone let the cat out of the bag.

And strangely, I'm still not as embarrassed as if I had posted that stuff about the electric car and scooter.

I'm like that chick in the video, I get so emotional when I think about what we have. I'm crying right now. Please forgive me. I don't want it to end.

I have a serious goal to get a conversion van for tailgating and put some ridiculous 70s-inspired airbrushed panther art on the side.

I think that would look great. I love the well-done unusual stuff.

I'd be careful with him Rev. I know how he makes his living...its pretty dangerous business.

RE: Welcome to my mixer
With a few exceptions, we have here a comedy troupe that is quite humorous. I'll continue on topic.

I'm a CPA by profession but my passion is cars. Ever since my childhood, I've been fascinated by cars. I first loved their design (growing up during the musclecar period). It wasn't until the '90s that I wanted to try my hand at a restoration. Most of the modern cars don't interest me as they have no personality and look like they were stamped out by a cookie cutter. My 1971 LeMans Sport is my only project car so far and I've owned her since 1997. Before I bought it, I started reading as much material on cars (i.e. engine building, suspension geometry, interior and modification. The first thing I did with my new knowledge was update the suspension. She now corners better than most cars not named Corvette, Viper etc. I built my first engine in 2008 that was dyno'ed at 465hp and 519 lb. ft. of torque.

http://www.genesisoneauto.com/yahoo_site..._large.jpg

I also love downhill skiing and even though I've had 32 static line jumps in the military, I haven't skydived yet but want to. BTW, I am also prior service that used to pack parachutes for the Ranger Btn. at Ft. Stewart/Hunter AAF in the mid '70s.

My sister lives about a mile from the track in Lexington. I would love to drive Mid-Ohio. Ran several times at Road Atlanta in Advanced PDXs. Driving very fast gets the blood a'pumping.

RE: Welcome to my mixer
I could write a book about myself but that would be too egotistical.

Grew up in a small town in southern NJ. Talking everybody knew everybody and most were related in one way or another. Yes, NJ has some WV type qualities. Moved to TX in 1982. Started following TXST in 2004 when my daughter was in her first year after transferring hrs from a CC.
Just a huge sports fan all my life (played sports as a kid/teen). I have followed football (of one form or another) since 1964. (Far back as I can recall having done so). For all the years I can't recognize all the formations or alignments but I know when things are crap. I know what works, in any given year, for TXST, based on what I see and am a huge critic when players are not used to their potential (skill sets) or the play calling is just lame (or Fran induced).
I am a photo specialist and can't wait to retire. I am also a writer (published) and work on my 2nd book; when I have the time/inspiration. Passion is anything history. Love to read, swim, camp and drive in the mountains.

I have the reputation for being the teams' stalker (slightly proud of that one). Just check my Facebook friends list. It's littered with current and former football and baseball players. Took my husband 10 years to figure this out and drag me to Corpus Christi; where I can't get to SM very easily. 03-hissyfit
I did do on field photography for TXST, at one time. It was fun but you also miss the games.
I can't abide horrible refs (I get lambasted about that all the time) and am not afraid to point it out. I also love stats so I will use them when called for. I used to keep more thorough spreadsheets on the teams but I don't have the time to do it any longer (too tired)

In case you wanted to know (and most don't)...yes, that picture (avatar) is me but it is 10 yrs old. It's just the best pic I ever had done of myself so I use it.

Me too, Mid-Ohio is a great track. I used to do track days at Road Atlanta, Barber, and Roebling Road all the time. The economy put a damper on that a few years ago but I need to get back out there.

You and me both! I miss track day at RA but will go back some day. I used to race solo with the Atlanta Region SCCA and even competed in the 2007 SCCA Solo National Championship in Topeka, KS in C-Stock Ladies.

I want to get back into competitive driving soon.

Wow, CC! It certainly is a pleasure to meet you. Thank you for serving our country and the same for your wife. So few of our generation took the time and sacrifice to be a contributing member to service of our country. I went in just prior to the fall of Saigon so I am considered a Vietnam Era Vet. Also, thank you for protecting and serving the community in a law enforcement capacity. I'm going to have a hard time arguing with you now that I somewhat know you.

Husband is a Vietnam era Vet. He was with NATO Europe, though, and doesn't feel like he did anything worth acknowledging. Drives me nuts because he (and my kids) both say he did what he was asked to do and went where they sent him. Have a lineage full of veterans and I always acknowledge anyone that has (or is) serving so..thank you for your service.
