We would be in our stadium this season if it had been approved. :(

I just hope we do not have to wait for a hurricane to get ours.
Plus I am not sure the hurricane would have to wipe out legion field or
maybe just the next BOT meeting

Its kind of a trend - providing endzone-level viewing with amenities. Even Legend Field does it...

That may well be true, but I remember that Sou Miss player who ran through the endzone and had a horrendous collision with a metal cart , breaking 1 or both legs below the knee. Seeing that glass corner feature at Tulane just gave me the heebee jeebees thinking about what could happen with a receiver (and his defender )running a corner route in the endzone with an over thrown ball.

You're thinking of the Houston kid that ran into the band cart at Marshall.

As has been discussed recently, if our program's current trajectory mirrors what we've seen in the first two games, the BOT will be wishing they approved the 25,000 seat version.

Oh, I agree. I imagine it's made of something thick enough for a football player running full-tilt into it not to break it, because that's where the danger is. If it is, then it's no worse than the brick walls that surround some of the older fields.

That is a nice stadium. Looks like it fits well, despite the glass.
