MSU game projection from their point of view
Wow, I wouldn't expect the team to be beaten this bad under Calloway or M*G**

MSU is expecting to be better than they were under Croom.

Same song, different year. They will finish 7-5/6-6, as usual.

So all they expect is their biggest victory over us in history, by far?

It's the Miss St perspective. What do you expect them to think? On this board, we think we're going to beat MSU right?

Yeah but 55-6? Now I want to destroy them.

Yeah but 55-6?

Does it matter? I heard Coach Mullin on Sirius/XM yesterday and acknowledge that even though MSU usually have their way with CUSA teams, UAB has been the one team to always give the Bulldogs trouble.

If Coach Mullins respects UAB, that is all that matters to me.

Not really, but arrogance and stupidity amuse me.

Is MSU really THAT good. this year? I don't expect us to win, but I'd be pretty surprised with the type of blowout they are all predicting

RE: MSU game projection from their point of view
I could see why they would predict that. I'm not saying it's close to what will happen, but if I was only looking through bulldog colored glasses, still hadn't seen any signs of weakness, and was about to play the team that ended the losing streak of the team we just stomped...I'd probably predict a 50 point win as well

I'd be wrong, but most fans are overly optimistic until given a reason not to be. I hope they get their reason on Saturday

They just beat a team that hung 60 on us 10 months ago, 49-0.

I imagine they like their chances.

Mississippi State is legit. Their linebackers are projected to be high round picks in the NFL and the D-line is as athletic as they come. I definitely don't think UAB will get shut out by MSU and my hope is that the guys are competitive and make MSU work for everything they get.

Play dirty early on defense. Put dak on his back, if we can somehow get to him. Take the 15 yard penalty if it makes them pull the QB out of the game. Ugly this game up. After each play on offense, o linemen walk straight to the line of scrimmage and everybody get set as quick as possible. They can't sub unless we give them time to. Speed the game up. They can't use the depth on defense if we move the ball well and they don't call timeouts...... Ahh whatever, I'll just let the coaches figure it out.

The day a UAB team intentionally injures a player to win is the last day I support that UAB team until every coach involved is gone.

They now eject players for targeting penalties, no warning required. They review the play, and if it is determined targeting occurred, the player is ejected on the spot. Ol Miss just had a player ejected last week for that...
