I haven't followed this close enough as to have an opinion. And if I wanted to form one, the news channel I choose to watch would probably try to steer me into agreeing with their opinion.

He expects party line political knee jerk reactions to everything and doesn't understand the concept of developing an independent opinion. I haven't reached one either. Neither side has me convinced and there just aren't enough facts to say weather or not the shooting is justified.

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean that it can't or won't change. I think the cop may have used excessive force. That's my opinion as of now.

The important part is the video at the end and the transcript of the background conversation (starts at about 6:20), as one of the male witnesses points out that Brown went in the general of the cop and no mention of his hands in the air (THe author admits he is having problems on determining some of the comments in his transcription though)

It's possible. I do think there was a fight. My issue is with how many times he was shot and where the final shots were fired.

The video has one guy saying 8, one guy saying 5. Then one claimed someone shot Brown while he was down, so that I don't know.
