I'm not 'think progress'
Quote where I said that...
While we know this is not all because of minimum wage hikes, the sane person knows that it has a lot to do with it.
You, on the other hand want to pretend it has nothing to do with minimum wage hikes.
Continue, little one.
I'm glad you admit you're wrong, and I never said that. Carry on.
I am right. You are wrong and you indeed said that.
So you're drinking today? That means the aliases should start posting soon...

This has been "on it's way" since supermarkets introduced 'U Scan' systems a decade ago.
We are fully aware of that country boy. It's the irony that is amusing us.
I'm glad you see that I'm correct...
If Walmart, Target, Kroger, Publix, etc are already doing it, and have been doing it for years now...you knew McDonalds wouldn't be far behind.
Once their hand was pushed, well sure. It's either that or go out of business. Then we all lose, right?
So, minimum wage moonbats, automation will take some jobs, wage increases will claim others. Wage increases will accordingly require better skills, more training and probably higher educational levels. Who's going to be getting these jobs now? kids? nope. drop outs? nope. Unskilled, poorly educated folks? nope.
There's only one solution left, then isn't there? (aside from simply letting them rot on the leftist plantation)
Clearly it's time to either lower the minimum wage or do away with it altogether. Amiright?
We want these people to work, don't we? Learn a skill? Become productive, contributing members of society? We've got to get them into the workforce, and do it soon or they never will. So yep, there it is. Time to lower the barriers to entry, or do away with it altogether. Let's get this done!!!
Something tells me that if McDonalds goes out of business, it's not a lose but a win.

No, the natural progression of technology is not a valid reason to get rid of the MW.

This one hits home.
Not really, I rarely, if ever, eat at McDonald's.
I prefer Tops BBQ, Back Yard Burgers, Jack Pirtle's, Danvers, Gus' Chicken, or maybe Popeye's
You just work there. Always will.

I bet there's several Fine Arts majors, Lib Art majors, French poetry majors, Phycology majors, etc., that are now worried that they won't have a job when they graduate because now a machine can say: Hi Welcome to McDonald's.

Spielberg knew about this three decades ago. He also knew about big flat screen TVs and "Skype."

It would be neither. It would mean someone in competition with them won and gained their market share. Life goes on.

enjoy life and never have to work.

You do understand that higher wages include higher FICA costs also? It goes beyond just the wage. It goes also to benefits.

He doesnt understand that. He also doesnt understand how corporate taxes work, capital spending and depreciation, and other corporate expenses, although, listening to him, he would try to convince you he won the noble prize in corporate business strategies.

Go back further in the discussion. This is a direct result of wage hike threats. Even Think Progress admits it. Wage hikes are not the only cause, but to say they aren't a cause is foolish. You said that.

I never said companies are going to lose money...so I asked you to quote it...you have yet to do that.
Go back further in the discussion. This is a direct result of wage hike threats. Even Think Progress admits it. Wage hikes are not the only cause, but to say they aren't a cause is foolish. You said that.
Again, I'm glad you see I'm right.

Saying that again doesn't make you look any less foolish.
