RE: Predictions for 2014
Could we see 3 nationally televised games this year on NBC? WVU is on Root Sports.
My quick guess for NBC: JMU, Delaware and W&M.
Regional Television: Maine, Stoney Brook and Villanova.

If you believe what Ambrose has been selling for the past few years then our recruits who are now Sophs and RE-Frosh were the best that we have ever recruited here, so there should be no real dropoff.

RE: Predictions for 2014
With the CAAzone down and a lack of discussion on the WM side I'm starting to venture out to some of the other teams...no trolling, just starved for some CAA chatter. I'm looking forward to when we play you guys at your place later in the season. It's been exciting to see what Ambrose has done with your team, and we just need to get our QB situation sorted out. My guess is both Towson and WM finish in the top 4 of the conference, though no idea who comes out as the #1.

Hey back atcha! Hope I'll get to actually see you this year.
Agreed on the logjam. Tough year to call, as usual. My pick right now is Richmond. Most complete team that played really well at the end of 2013 and has a soft schedule with Albany, URI and Elon. If Tribe finds a healthy QB we'll be trouble for everyone else but have the toughest schedule.

@ Delaware State - W
Vs. NC Central - W
Vs. Maine - L
Vs. SB - W
@ JMU - L

Vs. W&M - W
@ RI - W
Going with 8-4. I consider WVU a likely loss for you all, but you have surprised me before. (Please do it again.) I think you drop a close one to Maine at Unitas because they're tough every year. By the time you get around to the Dukes/Hens stretch, Everett Withers should have the wrinkles ironed out for JMU and Delaware will be playing in a third straight home game. Close games, but I give the edge to the home teams. The win over W&M will be the most tense one of the season for your team, I suspect; my money's on overtime heroics.
I'm not sure who will make it through playoff selection this year, but at least you've got an opportunity to pad the stats and impress the committee with that final game against Rhode Island.

UNH getting that bid over Towson was absurd and shows you how little reserach that committee does in selecting these teams for the tournament....total joke.

Perhaps the committee researched too well, why would another conference want to face a Towson team that may have been better than the '13 team. I know if I were a Georgia Southern, App State etc...the opponent I would want to face would not be the Striped Cat.

RE: Predictions for 2014
That 2012 non-selection was ridiculous. I remember being upset for you all.
Unless I'm mistaken, it was ODU's final year in the CAA and we had traveled to Towson that year. T West sat that game out (some sort of an injury) and the game was still close. If West had played Towson probably would of won as ODU's defense wasn't stopping the backup RB effectively.

Towson was picked fifth in the CAA. Tye Smith, Emmanuel Holder, Christian Carpetner and Ryan Dellaire were picks on Preseason all-conference team.

RE: Predictions for 2014
Maybe this is a good thing. Our key is running back/offensive line. The recruits we brought in at running back look promising.

RE: Predictions for 2014
My biggest concern for 2014 is offensive line. T-West was a beast on his own, but the line made him look superhuman. I'm confident with Frazier at QB.
