Wow, an American citizen is active in political circles. What did you expect, the administration to purposefully rule out those supporting any political organization in their personal lives? Unless there is an obvious bias in their behavior prior to appointment, it is illogical to assume that this will change because of any change of employment. It's like saying that because I went to the University of Miami I should not be hired at FSU because I will, undoubtedly, work to bring down the institution.
