Nope. Francis Ouimet. Called the father of amateur golf in the US. Winner of the 1913 US Open playing against Harry Vardon, among others. subject of the book and subsequent movie "The Greatest Game Ever Played: Harry Vardon, Francis Ouimet, and the Birth of Modern Golf". He was played in the movie by Shia LaBeouf, before he went bat$hit crazy.

Depends on how you want to define "our first President".

Hanson was President of the Continental Congress and used the title President of the United States in Congress Assembled. This was not an executive post. It bore a closer resemblance to the current position of Speaker of the House of Representatives. This position was in existance of the Articles of Confederation. It was replaced by the modern office of President of the United States when the constitution took effect in 1789.

The longest reign of a British monarch? Queen Victoria ruled for 63 years, 216 days from 1837 to 1901. The current Queen Elizabeth II is second all-time at 62 years, 146 days. King George III follows and ruled for 59 years, 96 days from 1760 to 1820.

She certainly doesn't 'fly under the radar.' She's one of the most celebrated monarchs if not the most celebrate one.

You are correct. He was actually Britain's Prime Minister 2 times.

However I was hoping you'd supply Benjamin Disraeli's name. But that's a minor detail.

Cream even immortalized him with an album.
