There really isn't any for the racist portion of the intro, which is what I found completely odd. They do make some sort of point about the use of the POW/MIA designation in order to garner more support for Vietnam, but it's poorly sourced and really painfully simplistic. It's somewhat unfortunate, too, because I think there is a compelling argument to be made concerning the deification of Americas armed forces, and how that can lead to actually harming the very troops it's claiming to defend, but it's not made very cogently here.

But I'd like every snarky commenter saying something asinine about liberals to note, not a single liberal poster here has actually supported the racist allegation of this flag. At all. So, you know, shut up with that nonsense.

Background checks can be used to discriminate. If you don't get that then I can't help you.

A local minor league team has a POW/MIA seat that will never be used in honor of all the men who never made it home. I suppose it is a racist seat now. Better take it down.
