You know that if anything, SMU fans will skew the results negative.

Not voting because I honestly don't know where our wins will come from this year.

Didn't put much logic into my vote..really just said that SMU starts pretty rough and then picks up steam towards the end of the season with an upset win over in-state "rival" UH. If ECU has a "wtf" loss I hope it's to SMU...the first home game I'm missing since I've started attending ECU football games (6 years ago).

RE: Predict SMU's 2014 Football Season Record
I'd say 4 wins and maybe a meaningless 5th win at UConn in a "do it for the seniors" type effort, provided Uconn isn't playing for a bowl berth or more at that point.

Aloha June Jones.

Hello Chad Morris.

SMU is tough, because June is a good coach when he wants to be; I just question his interest since the Arizona thing.

i think a decent smu beats unt, and i feel your qb should be settled in by uconn and even tulsa i wouldnt be so quick to count does as losses

the if neal or the 4star a&M transfer even comes out guns blazing, tcu with an anemic offense isnt unbeatable either

UNT, UConn and Tulsa are road games and we've won only ten of those in six seasons. At best we'll win one of those three. Our QBs always come out rusty and June doesn't take "preseason" games all that seriously (2-17 vs FBS teams) so beating TCU isn't happening no matter how anemic their offense is.

I'm seeing on the C-USA website -- http://www.conferenceusa.com/sports/m-fo...14aah.html -- that SMU@North Texas will be on FOX Sports Net with kickoff set for 11:00am CDT.

Anybody else have any pre-noon kickoffs?

Wins 6: UNT, Memphis, Tulsa, USF, UConn and 1 of UC, TCU or UH*. *We always play above our pay grade at home near the end of the season (see UCF last year and Tulsa the previous year). Guesses based on optimistic view of defensive improvement and QB (Burcham or Davis) settling in by game 4.
