UAT clause to finalizing the agreement to play the 2015 season at the Hoover Met. Looks like we'll be competing for butts in the seats.

Then the gumps should play in Hoover. Their team won't draw flies in downtown. Too many scary people (UAB students) close by. LOL

You mean we get to play in a state of the art stadium with all the amenities while they play in someone else's castoff?

They should play at Tuscaloosa County Hugh School. UAT abandoned Birmingham years ago. Let them stay in Tuscaloosa.

Meh, UAB will continue to draw it's loyal but small fanbase like it has been & maybe even pick up a few new fans that are finally realizing (too late this season) we are playing at Regions Field... I don't see this affecting UAB baseball attendance.

Really odd move. Can't see it helping their attendance at all. Crazy to think that a construction project couldn't be managed around the relatively lengthy parameters between a college baseball season, they must be really re doing the thing

Or maybe Tuscaloosa is angling for a minor league baseball team ?

Well, if you live in Jefferson County you can get your license plate renewed there. They're using it for something. 03-lol
