Because boys have openly kissed girls for thousands of years and never felt ashamed of such.

How is this on topic?

The fact is one man, in a rather mild fashion, expressed an opinion. He said nothing bad about Sam, just sated his personal displeasure in the hype.

He was fined for stating an opinion and that is a dangerous precedent, one the left seems to be increasingly giddy about.

The headlines all made it seem as though Jones said something completely horrific and out of line. I was surprised when the tweets only said "OMG" and "Horrible". Those don't rank anywhere on my offensive words list.

I think Jones was totally off the mark with his comments. But I think a fine and suspension are total overreactions. Maybe they felt a need to overreact because of what happened last year.

Again, I think Jones's comments are totally wrong and inappropriate. But this is not the proper discipline. If it were my team, I'd trade him if anybody would take him, because I don't want to be around people like that.

Surely you're not serious. He didn't say anything offensive about sam. I would have kept him on my team and told everyone to grow up if they felt offended by his comments. None of this was worth a fine.

That is why you are not the NFL commissioner. 03-lmfao03-lmfao

I for one am outraged by it.

I find it offensive that she is with him and not me.

So what was horrible about those comments? Maybe he wanted Sam to go to a different team, or maybe he wanted his buddy drafted by the Rams. Or maybe he was actually supporting Sam and didn't think he would survive on a team that's already rich in DLs.

Do you notice something that's going on here? An owner has to give up his team only 3 days after he says something and a player is suspended 1 day after he tweets something. Aaron Hernandez lasted longer.

Conspiracy theory you say? How do you get anything homophobic from "OMG" and "horrible" unless you're reading something into it? How?

It's not hypocritical because the two situations aren't apples to apples comparison. One man said that he didn't want his girlfriend openly associating with black people because she can pass for white or latina and should aim to do so. The other said "horrible" on Twitter.

Like I said, if this player came out with actual comments instead of one word messages, it could've been closer to Sterling.

6 years ago, this would have never been a story. That "fool" would have been overlooked since society was still halfway normal.

I'm referring strictly to the Dolphin's guy. I disagree with the penalties that Sterling got as well, but that wasn't bland like this. This is seriously a non-story. It's overkill to the extreme.

I think you'd be surprised about some of Stephan A's views.

Could be. I've heard that before about him. I haven't watched him much. His style is kind of off-putting to me.

His views are kind of wide ranging. He defended RL in both the Donovan Mcnabb incident and when he couldn't buy a team. He usually says that racial situations are overblown. He's a defender of black conservatives and libertarians.

He's a true free market capitalist, calling himself "unapologetic" in that regard. His sports take is usually polarizing though.
