This is what San Francisco gays did on Easter - they had a Hunky Jesus contest. Why didn't they have a Hunky Mohammed contest? Gays have no problem ridiculing Jesus but when Christians question th morality of gays then the homophobe card gets played real hard.

Oh, and where is Obama on this? He's a Christian, right? If he can weigh in on racial comments made by an 80 year old then he can say something about the people who would mock his god.

Sunday marked the 35th anniversary of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. The Sisters were founded on Easter weekend back in 1979 in San Francisco, and they have continued their quest to make Easter sexy ever since. In the mid '90s they held their first annual Hunky Jesus contest in The Castro's notorious cruising spot, Collingwood Park. They outgrew Collingwood and moved to Dolores Park, but this year moved the contest to Golden Gate Park, since Dolores is still as tore up as a San Franciscan after a night at Martuni's. If you were too busy celebrating that other holiday and totally forgot Hunky Jesus was happening, don't worry! I haven't quite figured out why these folks almost have an obsession with costuming-up sans clothes. I thinking they'd actually prefer to parade around naked, but naked isn't much of a costume........................

A Hunky Mohamed would not go well with Muslims and they know it. They're stupid but not crazy. But. I would love for them to mock Islam. But. Sigh. They would never do it even though they know that in some places like Uganda they'd be in deep caca.

Probably? Definitely. I am gay, and I think it's really strange. I'm not big on all this pride and parading stuff. Hell, the sexualization of it all gets on my nerves sometimes. I'm totally fine just doing my own thing at home and keeping my life normal.
