Congrats to UofL - and props on a great effort by Cincy. They look like they're headed in the right direction.

True. I mean WTF is Pitt playing such a joke team like UCF for. Pitt would get more of a challenge playing Colgate.

Re: Keg of Nails
Congrats to the Cardinals for taking home the Keg of Nails. Tough loss for the Bearcats, but the future looks bright.

UC is basically bringing this team back next year. In fact, I don't think there are any key losses, and a few talented players coming in next year. UC will be a serious threat next year. As far as this year is concerned, I like UC's chances of getting to 6 wins and, hopefully, a bowl berth.

Some may have but others like myself were just rebutting what happened two seasons ago. Many like myself never said it would be a blowout this year. I expected to be up by a fairly small amount at the half and then pull away like others had done to UC. I was certainly wrong on the 2nd half of a guess.
I haven't seen such a poor level of execution by UofL in a long time. Credit to UC for never quitting and for making me want to throw something at a wall for converting an endless amount of 3rd and LONG plays. This isn't something that you can find in a box score and I'm not taking the time to look at play by play, but I bet UC gained 75% of their yardage on 3rd downs. If UC can get some skill guys on offense soon they will be in good shape with their rush defense.
Not that he wanted a game this close, but Petrino certainly will give them a fun week at practice. This was the most dissapointing UofL win in a long time.

You're right, you and some others didn't say that, just a few. And they weren't really mean-spirited, I just think either a little overconfident, or not completely versed on UC's improvement. I think this game will help both teams. It'll give UC the confidence they need, hopefully, to win 3 or 4 more games and qualify for a bowl game, and it'll wake Louisville up and make them into more of a Big East and BCS championship or BCS Bowl contender.

Why do we continue to allow this type of post from fans of schools not in the Big East. Posts like this wouldn't be tolerated on any other conferences message board and they shoudn't be allowed here.

I just blotted it out. Jealousy can be an ugly thing. Hey, at least we're winning our easy games goodknightfl!
