Halftime - 14-0 Connecticut is leading Army

5:27 left in the half, South Florida leading at North Carolina 20-7

2:23 left in the half, #5 West Virginia is in a fight with Syracuse, leading the 'Cuse at home 17-14.

Still to come, in a few minutes #24 Rutgers at Navy

3:30 Cincinnati visits #7 Louisville

Pitt pounded Central Florida on the road 52-7 Friday Night
Just an added note, one of the fringe benefits of being in the Big East that I LOVE is that so many games are on national television so I can actually see the teams and see what they're capable of. I'm looking at USF (and later Cincinnati and Louisville) on ESPNU, Rutgers will be on CSTV, and West Virginia and Syracuse are the Big East Game of the Week on the local Fox Affilliate here in Cincinnati. Pitt was on ESPN Friday. VERY nice!

Thank you! I get Fox 19 but didn't realize the game is on. Now I have something to watch besides boring Big 10 beatdowns till 3pm.

No problem! I didn't realize it was on either until I saw the score and decided to turn to Channel 19 and the game was on. Purdue vs Northwestern just isn't going to get the job done.
Halftime:
USF 20
UNC 10
Rutgers and Navy are underway, watch out for those chop block guys! Take down the Midshipmen!
Rutgers D is looking strong against Navy so far.
Great fake to Slaton by White who baisically jogged up the middle of the field for a 40 yd TD run. Syracuse can't stop this play, it was also what White's first TD and responsible for a 20 yd White run earlier on this opening 2nd half drive.

24-14
South Florida is all over North Carolina on the road 27-10. They had a chance to further bury them but their replacement return guy, I think his name is Amare Jackson, had one of the most pathetic attempts to return a punt I have EVER seen, and turned the ball over in their own territory, about the 32 yard line, to North Carolina. But South Florida's defensive is just slaughtering North Carolina's offensive line, and UNC just knocked down a 52 yard field goal wow. 27-13 South Florida still hammering them. West Virginia leading Syracuse 24-14.

that was a terrible punt return.....lollygagging
The Mountaineers are now up 31-14
WVU may be setting some conference rushing records today against a pathetic Orange rush defense.

Right now WVU is averaging over 12 yards a rush. Conference record for any game is 9.56 by Miami in 2000.

They have 364 total rushing yards. That's a way off from the top numbers but there's still more than a full quarter to go.
South Florida is ALL OVER North Carolina now on the road 34-13. South Florida literally beat them so badly that they rolled over and quit. Wow.

They quit against us last year in Louisville with the 69-14 game. UNC is notorious for that.
WVU 38 - Syracuse 14 in the 3rd

USF 34 - UNC 13 in the 3rd

UConn 21 - Army 7 in the 3rd

Rutgers 3 - Navy 0 in the 2nd

Love the out of conference games so far. RU so far has held Navy to 26 total yards through the mid 2nd, but can't translate it out to many points on their end however.

Cuse defense is horrendus this year. Much worse than last year, while our offense is much better, but still not very good. I thought they would keep it within a couple of TD's but the offense keeps killing themselves with false starts. They have had at least 6. We have a long ways to go yet.

Meanwhile Uconn is beatin up on Army 04-rock
and USF is whippin Unc as bad as WV is whippin the Cuse.

I can't believe Bunting is still employed!
Not a work of art, but a win for UConn. It's a final.

21-7 over Army. :clap2:
Nice solid win for UConn. Army was never in this game and that's after they beat Baylor and took TA&M to the last minute of the game before losing by 4. That says something because right now UConn is probably the worst in the league for us.
#24 Rutgers leading at Navy 10-0.
