Memphis (6) vs. Arkansas (11) winner to play Michigan/Boston winner. Should be interesting. Arkansas wasn't even getting a mention until they beat Kentucky. Kentucky loses twice to unranked teams and is losing 1 spot to a 6 seed.

AAC: Cincinnati - 4 seed, UConn and Louisville - 5 seeds, SMU - 9 seed

Ark is one of the hotter teams. They are in the sec but winning nonetheless.

One of the hotter teams in the country or in a very mediocre SEC? They are 9-7 in the SEC. Their latest winning streak is against LSU, South Carolina and Georgia at home and Kentucky and Mississippi State on the road.

IF we can take UC and SMU and then make a little run in the AAC tourney we could still move up several spots.

You need to look at the bracket again. In this bracket, if Tigers beeat Arkansas, they'd play the winner of the Michigan-Boston U. Game.

It's the NCAA Tournament. I think we all know what Tiger team will show up.

Yep, the same one that can't beat a ranked team...oh wait.

Its games against the likes of a Houston that increase doubt then there are games like Louisville that gives hope. This has been one heck of a year with yet another 2 games left that could shape the Tigers NCAA hopes.

RE: CBS Sports Bracketology
It is fun, especially this time of year.
If some of the very latest brackets have Memphis as a 6 seed, we still have ample opportunities to build that way up- with potentially 4-5 more ranked opponents.

Or- conversely, to play down to the 8-10 range.

Cincy. A road win over a ranked team would (should) boost our seeding- a good amount.

I'm all for Arkansas getting in, but that Kentucky sweep isn't looking so fantastic right now.
