After She Admits She Doesn’t Know Why Obamacare Site Failed…



You know it’s bad for Pelosi when über-liberal Jon Stewart is laughing in her face.

House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) sat down with The Daily Show host Jon Stewart on Thursday for a contentious interview. The interview became tense when Stewart attempted to get Pelosi to explain why government appears to function so poorly to the outside observer. When Pelosi attempted to explain why this was the case, Stewart became even more agitated. [...]

Stewart said that Democrats are then required to make a stronger case. He said that Democratic governance now appears “chaotic” and their execution of legislation appears to “lack efficiency.” When Pelosi again blamed Republicans for this condition, Stewart became even more agitated.

When he asked why it was so difficult to get a company to execute the Affordable Care Act’s insurance exchange website “competently,” Pelosi replied, “I don’t know.”

“What do you mean you don’t know? How do you not know?” Stewart asked laughing.

Pelosi called the failed website “shameful,” but noted that it is improving.

I made it 1 minute and 36 seconds into the video before I had to stop watching because I can't stand Pelosi. Besides, what is a for house speaker doing talking about politics on Comedy Central? What's next, Sponge Bob?

When you are a laughing stock, your options become limited.

I found it telling that all she was interested in, seemed to know anything about, was the politics of it all. Nothing about "How do we actually make government functional". It's like it's all nothing but a power game of who gets to call the shots - not how do we actually make government work. While "we the people" may not like all of the directions that government takes, I think almost universally (both left and right) we can agree that all too often it just hits us in the face just how inept government is at anything it undertakes.

Other than grandstanding and sound bytes - government fails at just about anything it tries to accomplish..............Stewart tries to focus the conversation on that very fact and it's like it flies right over her head and she's oblivious.

I'm no fan of Stewart, but you could tell he was wanting to look at Pelosi and say "No dumba$$, I'm not talking about politics, I'm talking about government putting on a display of total ineptitude to the point they can't even make a working website - and spending $400 million doing it." "Government is totally failing at delivering - not the f'ing politics you idiot"......................but if he ever wants another "powerful politician" to come on his show, he can't overtly expose her as a clueless moron.

The sad thing is that probably near 40% of the electorate is so ignorant they didn't even realize he exposed her cluelessness in a nice way. Duh, she has a "D" next to her name - she's great.

I can't stand to listen to her.

She's just shameful. Don't forget that pelosi has made a lot of money from the whole congressional policy insider trading ability, before they passed the legislation on it but I'm sure since they repealed most of it she'll be at it again.

She is a national treasure.
