60% Liberal. Probably close to being correct in this quiz. Most of these question IMO dealt with the social side of issues. I admit I am socially liberal. It had very few fiscally related questions...of which I am very conservative.

14% liberal

You have a messy desk (this is true)
You like fusion cuisine (the question was would I want to try it)
You use a modern browser (Firefox is modern?)
You prefer the Met to Times Square (actually I have 0 interest in either but the quiz forced me to a false decision)

Your test is missing an axis and therefore hopelessly flawed. This is like being instructed to graph a circle using only the x coordinate plane.

As someone who has frequented both the Met and Times Square, I have no idea which is the liberal and which is the conservative venue.

Well, I don't care for art and I despise large crowds and chain stores. I picked the Met for the mere fact that it would be less stressful, but other than Chinatown and Little Italy for the food and under the table jewelry deals, I have no other use for NYC at all.

I much prefer the 4-quadrant political charts that take into consideration fiscal, social and foreign policy viewpoints.

But yeah, this quiz certainly tagged "liberal" as meaning the artsy, hipster latte crowd. The blue-collar automotive labor union guys around here who would be considered a brand of "liberal" have big, slobbering dogs, don't know one Internet browser from another, and won't touch eccentric cuisine with a 10-foot pole.

My perspective on this question was that if I was in Manhattan for an afternoon and HAD to choose, I'd choose Time Square because it's a unique one-of-a-kind location, whereas art museums are commonplace (I know the Met is top-notch, but still).

(Edit) I'm guessing the authors of the survey consider the Met more of the "refined intellectual" destination and Times Square the more "noisy and commercial" destination and played into stereotypes.

I was thinking a rack of bbq ribs in an Asian chili sauce when I answered that one.

Nothing says New York City like purchasing a knockoff designer bag
out the back of a van parked in an ally just off of Canal Street.

NYC is my favorite, walkable city. I wish I could visit there more often. The different neighborhoods have the own nuances. Unlike L.A., it's laid out very well.

22% conservative, 78% liberal. Obviously a BS poll. I don't fit their stereotypes.

I'm not talking knock-off. I paid $4,000 cash for my wife's engagement ring and it was appraised at $10,500. My dad has been using the same guy for over 30 years.
