Saw that tweet from the OC at Lackawanna regarding Doucet. Strange if true. The OC tweeted the same to a VA Tech recruit as well a few tweets back in his twitter history. Could it be grades or SAT and couldn't get into JMU?

Thanks. I'd did for 6 of the 7 who transferred from 4 yr universities by listing class yr (rFr, rSo, rSr, etc) which tells you how many seasons they have left. Schorr was the only exception since he transferred from a JUCO and I see that has already been addressed.

You know, when so many on here were saying how we had lost an entire recruiting class because it was taking so long to hire a new coach, I remember thinking that the real story for the first year would be how many valuable transfers the new coach could get. I'd say that the new staff has easily overcome whatever disadvantage that was suffered by losing a couple of weeks in recruiting the high schoolers.

Agree 100%....these guys are really putting in the effort to bring in some good talent.

On 1 side of the ball. Now can we get some defensive transfers?

A bit surprising that we haven't pulled in a defensive transfer from Ohio State. Maybe we get one this summer?

Is there any possibility that some of these transfers will move to the other side of the ball? Right now I can see us being ODU of 2012.

That would be a huge step up from JMU 2013 :-)

Yeah, I agree, its just unfortunate that they were the comparison I chose. To be honest, I'm ok with their team, its the fans who I despise.

Update: Though, I'll have to give DaBigBlue a hand, as he seemed to offer some good advice on seating at the UMD game.

Check out the latest Instagram post by Alden Hill - it's a spring practice clip from when he was still at Tenn.

It's only one highlight but it gets me excited to see him this fall.

RE: Transfers
Updated transferring to JMU as of now.
7 transfers offense.
1 transfer defense.

-Vad Lee: 3 star rSo QB transfer from Georgia Tech, 6'1"/215. From Durham, NC. Started for GT last season running the triple option, and was slated to start for them this season. Last season as a starter completed 45.6 percent of his passes, throwing for 1,561 yards, 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, but most triple option passing is on obvious passing down 3rd and long. Rushed for 513 yds, 8 Tds. 182 carries, 2.8 yds per carry. But that includes 168 yds in losses, mostly sacks.
