Kent robbed their PG blind and had the ball all alone toward the Rocket Hoop. He threw down a thunderous slam and gave the crowd a look that I will never forget. That dunk was the final nails in the coffin as Toledo moved on the the MAC Tourney finals. That team was loaded with talent, I think Ty Kent was a freshman. Best "statement" dunk that I can remember.

Akron, not Kent St.

do we now add Justin Drummond to the list?

that was one of the greatest dunks in ut history. not just for the degree of difficulty and hang time, but combined with the magnitude of the moment. the game is on the line and he blows by everyone, does a little double pump, draws contact and throws it down clean. spectacular!

Diff between tall guy from Kent's three and Drummond. He got his on defensive lapses or on the break, Drummond got his in traffic, with contact and at a crucial point when no other shot he attempted would have much chance. Amazing. Pono, I'not ready to put him up with an Ian Salter just yet but a couple more like that might convince me he belongs.

Justin D's certainly deserves an (*) if he doesn't make the list just yet. Agree with H2O with the analysis...a great dunk! From what I hear he is a great kid, great family too! Love his leadership and what looks like a real knack for holding the team accountable during tough times in the game. Certainly have the athletes to win the MACC and if we get a break in our bracket, could do early damage. Go Rockets.
