North Korea executes Kim Jong Un's uncle

He'll probably be on the menu tomorrow.

I read that China will likely not be too happy about this.

I believe the official narrative. He was probably plotting to overthrow the regime and wrest the power for himself.

I heard that his uncle was pushing for "Chinese-style economic reforms," which - while still operated by a socialist government - would incoporate strong elements of capitalism that I'm sure Un found repulsive enough to off him.
