RE: Strength Conditioning
With all the injuries UAB football players endure, I wonder if the UAB football staff has even heard of Shannon Turley and his revolutionary techniques at Stanford?

I have often heard over the years that soccer and ballet both benefit football and basketball players due to their emphasis on body movement and superior foot work. We often see players, who when caught out of position by an opponent, grabs at them getting a foul in basketball or only able to "arm tackle" a runner in football because they can't get their feet into the right position to make a good play or tackle.

Turley seems to have good answers to these kinds of training problems. UAB's recent injury history in the 2013 season seems make us a good case study for taking a look at his methods.
