That's unreal if true. Seriously. It could be that a donor stepped up, which is fine too. A lot of schools lose their ass on the mandatory allotment they are responsible for.

That can't be true. The pre-orders were 4-1 Orange/Sugar to Fiesta. If true than we had a SERIOUS donor step his game up.

I would not put too much validity in this just yet. Ticket sales are definitely strong, but I do not think we are close to that number.

I thought many students would bail at the Arizona idea after the bummer of the Sugar...To my surprise, a lot of students are making the trip! Kind of relieved

Well Florida had about 20,000 people there. As stated on another thread, they get a benefit of the doubt us smaller schools don't, and are not penalized from buying outside of the school.

And uconn only sold 2000 when they went. This would be huge if we can sell 10k+.

15,000 should be the goal. If you can do that it will make a statement. If you can sell all 17,500, and soon, it will make a BIG statement.

Ucf will have 15k in AZ. Will they buy them through ucf? Don't know.

Lassiter (external AD) hasn't been answering my tweets about ticket numbers. He's usually really awesome with answering promptly to fans and boosters alike. I hope it's a good thing he isn't answering (maybe cause he's on the phones selling tix non-stop is my hope and has no time for twitter)

The first thing that came to mind when I heard about the potential high number of sales is relief, and less stress to make the game.

If that sentiment is shared, I hope they announce the ticket sale numbers AT the game, and not a moment earlier

Hope your numbers are right but 17.5k to Phoenix is a lot maybe since its so new people will do whatever just taking
half would be awesome...

FWIW, I know I called in earlier today to add 2 more tickets to my order and had to wait like 5 minutes to speak to a UCF sales agent. I don't know if that means anything one way or the other but figured I would post it, lol.
