I think we're all pretty equal IMO. Charlotte has a final four and a lot of trips to the tournament since the mid 90's, but we haven't made it past the first weekend since that final four.

You guys on the other hand don't have a final four, but you do have several sweet 16's.

UTEP has a national championship, but I don't think they've had much success getting past the first weekend since then either.

It's hard to argue that anyone else in the same league as our three programs when it comes to history though...until WKU joins.

Yeah, I'm proud of UAB's history (1 Elite 8 and several Sweet 16s), but I'm not going to go overboard chest pumping yet. I remember some great battles in the old CUSA with Charlotte, so I have great respect for them, and UTEP has been right with us battling for second fiddle behind Memphis over the last few years. Tulsa is usually pretty strong, and USM and MT have had their moments, so there's some potential. The bottom dwellers are BAD though, and that will hurt.

As an added bonus from the MTSU athletic office, in addition to our tickets we will now receive automated calls from MTSU football coach Rick Stockstill inviting us their bowl game. I just got mine!

You would think the 205 area code would be a give away.

There's probably many MTSU fans/season ticket holders in 205 not just those of us going to the game that got tickets from MTSU. Do you think that UAB/McGee would be doing the same if we were going to a bowl game???

I assume the only way would be to call their office & ask to be deleted from all future contact.

I got a call from Larry the Hat when I ordered tickets from the USM ticket office a couple of years ago.

I went to a random Georgia Tech game and Paul Johnson called me the next three years trying to get me to go to another one.

I'm all set. Did we decide what eating establishment we are going to invade for pre-game? Hate we are not playing USM twice.

I ordered a VCR tape of the Nebraska / UAB game from years ago & I was on their mailing list for a few years.

I got my call and all I did was inquire about tickets without buying any.

They are on the ball. I got my tickets today.

I purchased 4 tickets, but now I only need 2 of them. The tickets are located in Section M Row 20 Seats 15-16. If you'd liked to take these off my hands, I'll let you have them for $8 each (You can purchase them online for $10). If you're interested send me a PM!
