Ovie Soko
Ovie is leading Duquesne in points and rebounds with 18 PPG and 11 RPG.

Duquesne plays Pittsburgh at 12 noon today on the CBS Sports Network (Dish channel 158) in case anyone wants to DVR it and watch it when you get home from the football game today.

RE: Ovie Soko
I never got why he left. For a guy who stayed in Davis' doghouse, I thought he's be as excited about a new start as anybody, particularly given Haase's style of play.

I think the two are related. I think Soko was a bit of a hot-head which would explain both why he stayed in Davis' doghouse and why he threw a tantrum when a new coach was brought in and he had no control of the situation.

Me either. Haase's system plays to all of Ovie's strengths.

I think he just took it personal for some reason.

I don't. Ovie Soko was a ticking time bomb. Haase tried working with him. Soko staying would have added nothing but descent to the team last year and I wouldn't have been surprised to see Jekore and Soko kicked off the team. Soko being gone last year allowed Williams to assume the leadership role we so desperately need him to be in this season.

But Attalla has already claimed that as the spelling for decent. 03-lmfao
