Using the Josh Rule
I guess Louisville and VCU are both looking for new coaches. Georgetown's and UNC coaches are only one loss away from losing their jobs!03-lmfao03-lmfao

Yeah, Shaka Smart's name was being used around here last week, now his #10 ranked team loses to unranked G'town, and on a neutral court at that, not the opponent's, and Pitino's name was used to illustrate Pastner's inabilities, now his #3 ranked team loses to #24 UNC, also on a neutral court.

Both Georgetown & North Carolina played well, best I’ve of seen them this season.

But you shouldn’t bring up “that” rule. (We lost to Louisville & VCU the last time we played them) 03-shhhh

Using the Josh Rule
Both coaches have F4 appearances and one has multiple NCs. No comparison.

One has been "coaching" since 99 (head for 5), and the other three have been head coaches for over 14-30 years. With more experience coaching than that.

So, right, no comparison.

Ditto! Some on here go out of their way to continually make excuses for bad in-game coaching decisions the last 4 years. I'm not saying Pastner should be fired after a few games, but let's not pretend everything is ok.

CJP is paid to be as good as anybody, including legends and Hall of Famers.

I realize this is supposed to be funny, but no one really thinks that a coach should lose his job as you are saying.

Seriously? You're comparing the struggles of Josh to a coach who is coming off a national title and one who has postseason success every year? This is just idiotic.

Give it a rest.

He wasn't comparing the coaching resumes', he was comparing the fact that they lost games they shouldn't have lost to weaker competition. We lost a game we were supposed to lose to a top 5 team. Its a fair point.

No, not a fait point. People would brush it off if this wasn't all we've been getting under Josh. Losing basketball games happens to everyone but Josh's resume is why getting crushed by OSU is troubling. Oh and give it a rest? I'm not the one starting dumb threads like this.

Sorry Jedi, you're one of the best, but the teams referenced in this thread have also beaten teams they weren't supposed to beat as well. If you compared Josh's resume to most of these guys he'd be dead last in terms of meaningful wins. We'll see if that changes this year.
