I've been to Cameron for a Duke v Wake game in the 90 when Wake had Duncan. It had that kinda feel, like we belonged on that court against Duke. 5 years ago, we'd lose this game 115-45 if we're lucky. Damn proud tonight. This game will go a long way to maturing our young guys.

Good Job Pirates. Robinson was a pleasant surprise tonight and I think we played pretty well inside. Again...OUTSTANDING job at the line. Keep that up and we will make some noise. Lebo doing a super job with this group considering the players that left the program.

Robinson and Silth will join White in the starting lineup soon enough.

Also Lebo may need to start having the team practice going hard to the rim more often since it's super effective.

Proud of the effort tonight, but this is where you go back and look at every mistake and grow. We had open shot we missed all night and some poor plays. We should have had a real shot to win with better play on offense. The D was outstanding considering it was Duke in Cameron and 8 on 5 at times.

Depends on the refs, yes for tonight and like the crew that call the UNCG game, but not last night or the game before that.

I'm not saying use it every game, but Lebo said in his radio interview that they don't practice this offense at all. I feel like with it being effective they should start so if the refs allow it and we're playing a smaller team/lineup we're better at it.

Lebo said we got that inside offense because of Akeem and the way Duke was guarding him opened up the lanes.

Pirates hit 95% at the line. This was the reason the game stayed close. Keep that up and we will win our share this season.

Especially with the new hand-check rule.
