Bill Fullner has reached his breaking point.

It started with the letter from his health-insurance company informing him it was canceling his plan and offering him a new one that’s nearly twice as expensive. Then the 60-year-old retiree from Mount Vernon heard about more people like himself with canceled plans and soaring premiums. Finally, he spent hours on the phone and computer trying — and failing — to find a new option that he likes.

“This whole experience has converted a lifelong Democrat into a foot soldier for the Republican Party,” Fullner said.

He’s not alone in his frustration.

In Washington, most of the 290,000 people covered by insurance plans they purchased on the individual market received letters this fall telling them that their plans are going away.

This is happening all over the country. The 2014 midterms are going to be brutal for the Democrats.

I am more concerned with the people who don't vote straight party. 2010 comes to mind.

yes, but now the Republicans look like the only group trying to spare Americans from this law. Americans also saw how little they actually need such bloated govt with the shutdown.

Yea, but its only 14 million with cancelled health insurance instead of 96 million. The delay did nothing but help the election hopes for the Dems. If it was all instituted at the same time the Republicans could have at least benefited from the backlash as opposed to having agreed to spread it out.

Is that a gas pump in his living room. Doubt it's hooked up, but he certainly takes some things seriously.

Yeah, I know. Have watched American Pickers for years. But even worth a lot wouldn't want it in my living room.
By the way, I prefer the glass bowl gas pumps from back in the '20's and 30's mainly. At least you could look at what gas you were going to put into your car and see the color and if it had any foreign substances in it.

That's ok - for every person that is falling for the MSM lies about ACA, there are hundreds deserting the Republican Party because it has gone over the deep end.

You mean like "If you like your plan you can keep it. Period. If you like your doctor, you can keep him. Period." ?

It doesn't matter, the rising premiums are somehow the Republican's fault.
