We will just have to see. If you have a lower deductible better co-pay, services covered at 100% that has to be factored in as well. Just looking at premiums doesn't give a clear picture. Remember too that the ACA should bend the curve of medical care inflation. No one expects cost increases to just suddenly stop.

Damn, ain't THAT just a bronzed ***** of a thing? Obama lied some mo'.

Despite everyone knowing Obama was clearly in wa-a-a-a-ay over his head based by a cursory review ofhis first term results...this country actually voted to put this jack@ss back in the Oval Office. Elections have consequences and America will pay a HUGE price for that major snafu.

Take the pain, America! You wanted him back and now you got him.

You are right we will have to see what happens...
if it doesn't work out the way dems want they can always lay the blame on Bush, their go-to scapegoat.

BTW, Increased demand does not lower price, it raises it.

Amen. I also blame the people who voted for hopeless candidates instead of voting for someone who could actually unseat him.

I like watching people pay for their selfish choices. Reap it America.

Great point. I love how you showed that Obamacare can actually save people money. It silenced those who claim that it will increase, then they complained that it didn't save them enough.

Some people are never satisifed.

I am glad to hear that Obamacare is going to save you 40% in premiums.

With a little research, I'm sure many can find a policy that works for them.

I think I saw you playing damage control on the ACA facebook page. How much are they paying you per post?

You can't be serious. Denying the obvious won't prevent this from dragging down the entire country.

RE: 500,000 In California To Lose Insurance
All the anecdotal stories just confirm one thing--some people will pay more, some will pay less. All we are doing there is reallocating the cost of health insurance among purchasers. It is inevitable that there will be winners and losers. What is clear is that it won't be a rosy as Obama promised--$2500 savings, you can keep your doctor, you can keep your health insurance--those all go out the window. It took lies to get the bill passed, so they lied.

But there's a much bigger concern. Will this new health insurance actually pay for any health care? We are supposedly adding 30 million people to the system through more widespread insurance coverage, at the same time we are supposedly bending down the cost curve by paying docs and other providers less. Paying less for anything means lower supply. That's the fundamental economic principle being denied by the left here. Lower supply coupled with higher demand always means shortages, queues, lower quality, generally ending with a huge price spike or a succession of them. This is not something I invented or found on a right wing website. CBO warned of this in the same letter where they supposedly said that Obamacare would reduce the deficit. You should read the whole report, not just the media sound bytes.

Well, it's an issue because we were all promised that if we liked our policy and our doctor, then we could keep them. You do remember Obama saying that repeatedly, don't you?

That means he lied to us. Again. But he's a lying SOB, and lying is what lying SOB's do

Epic Applause
