Hyperbole is the lifeblood of UNT, though.

The "lifeblood"? Sounds a little hyperbolic, don't you think?

I also once said that "Super Glue is the lifeblood of robotics" and my boss set me straight on that pretty quickly. So maybe I'm exaggerating. But I will say that I've noticed a pattern of unsubstantiated claims coming from UNT fans

The very usage of the word "lifeblood" and during the upcoming Halloween season? Not too wise, not too wise at all...05-nono

GMG!

PS: Conference USA needs USM back in their Top 25 form, though, and that is a fact.

I actually do think their defense is one of the hardest hitting, most physical defenses that Tulane has played, not just this year, but over the past two.

Now, does that make them the best defense? No. But its not what I would want my true freshman quarterback with a weak OL facing. Let me put it this way, we started Nick Montana in the North Texas game. Its now three weeks later and Nick is still questionable.

I don't think USM has a prayer in this one, honestly.

Testify, brother.Epic Applause

If you guys let a handful of fans shape your entire opinion of UNT then that's your problem. Every fanbase has a few who make wild assumptions, that's just how it is.

I don't care what anyone says I remember the beat down of the 2004 New Orleans bowl and I am not taking this game lightly.

I was at that game. that was the trip that I fell in love with The Staggeringly Drunk Bowl. I remember three things from that alcohol fueled rocket ride; michael boley returned an interception a really, really long ways for a TD, when the superdome people say there is no smoking in the arena, they really, really mean it, and unt has some really, really hot wimmins. never saw so many hot blondes wearing green before. ever.

the rest is a blur.
