That's a factor in what I'm talking about. EIU & HC were also nice for socializing. This Saturday is about being in HS to support the Huskies who happen to be 7-0.
Should be a sell-out. Key word of course is "should". We'll see.

Should also be thinking Long-term though, we want students to be roped into Huskie Fandom and show up for games AS ALUM to build the fan base $$.

That's not bad for late October at all. Should be a fairly nice day as it is supposed to warm up a bit after the middle of this week.

No doubt. That is #1A and the other is #1.

The west side of stadium looked pretty packed throughout the entire last two homes games versus the east side which looked pretty pathetic near the beginning of 4th quarter during homecoming. I believe the west side is typically alumni side/general fan, that's the side I've been sitting since 2006 season, as a student I always sat on east side. I'm not worried about alumni turnout, need students to show up and stay all 4 quarters, even in a blowout.

It's balmy for us diehards. Not for those casual fans on the fence on whether to attend.

Because I am sort of gaunt and emaciated, I am greatly affected by the cold. But, I bundle up and have a heated vest and heated jacket. I also have a nice new NIU scarf! I also try to wrap my body around a cute young lass in order to generate some body heat. Lastly, if it's really cold, I just eat a number of bratwurst or Polish sausage sandwiches piled high with sauerkraut, onions, and chile in order to generate enough heat for my group and my entire section. Where there's a will, there's a way!!

I was freezing my nuts off at the EIU game. The south has made me go soft (instert DF comment here).

If you froze your nuts off, I would assume that made you go soft (in addition to raising your voice an octave) - not the south. That's one of the reasons I always recommed using a peter heater during those cold games.

Maybe its because I'm from wisconsin, but I'm pretty sure 51 isn't cold for a football game.
I mean, we are NORTHERN illinois right? *checks google maps*

DeKalb seems to be in another world. 51 degrees in DeKalb feels like mid-30's. I will be bundled up with thermal underwear, a winter coat, gloves, and hat. I have way too much experience with DeKalb weather to do otherwise.

I'm not sure if I should be more offended that you compared me to Herbie or upset that you are right.
So many emotions!

LOL...You meant no harm. It was just weird that that's how I pronounced it in my head when I read your post. DAMN HIM.
On the bright side, got to see a Ron Burgundy clip.

Doesn't look like it will sell out before game day.
Hope people remember how to walk up on game day!
