Will Obamacare push the US into Recssion?
Short answer yes, but will it become a depression?
Three "successes" of Obamacare will drive the US into recession.
1) Loss of jobs, countless companies have laid off employees to avoid being covered under Obamacare and others, to maintain profitability due to the cost of Obamacare. The ones who haven't had large scale layoffs are either scaling back hiring plans or simply eliminating any new positions.
2) Loss of Income, tens of thousands of workers have seen their hours cut, naturally that means less household income
3) Loss of Company subsidized health insurance, Individuals now forced to participate in Obamacare, thanks to the Individual MANDATE, will spend disposable income on healthcare coverage that used to be offered by their employer.
It is Self fulfilling spiral, once consumers scale back or stop spending on durable goods, home purchase, new cars, etc and only have money to spend on essentials companies will lay off more employees.
We are heading down the CRAPPER it's just a question of how fast.

A. You're wrong and B. 132 billion over a decade is absolutely nothing compared to their spending over a decade so if you were right you'd still be wrong. Democrats OWN Obamacare.
Positive Rep me and I'll vote for Obama in 2016 now Free

Since when does spending MORE money save money.
Actually the democrats have tried to claim it will lower the deficit over the next decade. That would have been accomplished by collecting 10 years of revenue while paying 7 years of benefits. That is not even accurate any more since the cost of Obamacare according to the CBO is 3X what they were given to score before it became law.
If the savings were real, cutting a $1.1trillion annual deficit by $132billion over ten years won't create one new job.

Not really.
One, it doesn't save money, it spends money. The "savings" that will supposedly accrue to the government result only because it taxes the money away from others. Savings would be reducing the cost of something, not increasing taxes. The government is not the economy.
Two, the calculated "savings" are due to an accounting gimmick whereby for the first decade the taxes kick in for up to ten years while the spending kicks in for only six to seven. So, 10 years of revenue minus 7 years of expenditures is a net positive. And it doesn't "save" money if you don't follow that deceitful and dishonest method of calculation.
Three, it isn't actually going to happen that way. No federal program has ever come in costing as little as estimated up front. Why not? Simple. The numbers you are quoting came from CBO, which normally makes such estimates. Whenever CBO "scores" something, it has to make certain assumptions about the future. It is told what assumptions to make by whoever asked for the scoring; that's how CBO operates, by law, so it is not an independent, objective look. Because it is the proponents of the bill who asked CBO to score it, they were given a bunch of very favorable assumptions to use. When those assumptions fail to materialize, as they always do, then the actual numbers end up worse than the projections. Absolutely zero reason to believe the actuals won't be worse than the projections this time, and in fact it's already looking worse.
