HR25 goes before the WM committee
For the first time HR25 goes for a vote before the Ways and Means committee some time in the next 45 days. This would be a step in the right direction for his bill. If you support the consumption tax HR25 please contact your congressional reps.

RE: HR25 goes before the WM committee
It has only 1% chance of getting past committee.

To promote freedom, fairness, and economic opportunity by repealing the income tax and other taxes, abolishing the Internal Revenue Service, and enacting a national sales tax to be administered primarily by the States.

Does it replace a tax? Or is it just another tax?

Yep. They like having the power to pick winners and losers in the tax exemption game and reaping the monetary rewards for being bought and paid for. Very few true patriots left in Washington.

No way does that get past the committee any time soon... as nice as it would be.

Replace. It abolishes the 16th.
