Last year y'all struggled for most of the game. We almost had y'all but let it slip away.
And i believe we have the right players now to not let leads slip away like that.
Its a new team, a lot of changes.
You'll soon see.
I think Memphis fans will be a little surprised. This isn't C-USA you are walking into. Remember the great Josh Pastner has yet to beat a ranked top 25 team.
You really shouldn't make definitive statements that are definitively wrong.

Pastner beat a team ranked 25 in the coaches poll. Now if you say AP yes he has not.

No...totally wrong. A team ranked in one recognized poll is still ranked
Totally right would be that he hasn't beaten a team in the top 24

If by "most of the game" you mean the a ten minute stretch in the middle of first half then yes. It was a one point game late in the first half. And if by "let slip away" you mean give up a 16-2 run in the first half, and follow up by allowing a 17-4 run in the second half then sure.
Don' tell anyone, but I think the game was simply taken from you

So very true. Those Big East refs made some of the worst calls I've ever witnessed. In fact, I'd wager any neutral fan watching would have agreed. Geoff Calkins, who has been writing for the local paper for 17 years even said as much ... and followed with the comment that that was only the second time in those 17 years he has publically condemned the refs.

Too much coffee can discolor your teeth but it isn't like oral hygien isn't important in Kentucky.

Probably not true. Granny said she was from Tennessee, but the series never made it clear what state they moved from. Most hints over the years made it clear they were from the Qzarks in Arkansas or southern Missouri.

Probably not true. Granny said she was from Tennessee, but the series never made it clear what state they moved from. Most hints over the years made it clear they were from the Qzarks in Arkansas or southern Missouri.
Quote:The creators of the series seemed to place the Beverly Hillbillies as having previously lived somewhere in a mountainous area of the Southern US, yet beyond this, consistent information about specifically which part of the South they were from is not available. While Granny frequently mentioned that she was from Tennessee, the series never specified the state from which the Clampetts moved to California. Various, sometimes conflicting clues can be found in certain episodes as to where the Beverly Hillbillies might have come from. In season 5 episode 17 it is claimed that they came from the town of "Bug Tussle" in an unspecified state.
While there is indeed a town of Bugtussle in Oklahoma, this does not appear to be consistent with other geographical clues from other episodes (for one, Oklahoma is mostly plains and the series explicitly states Jed is a mountaineer). In other episodes they often referred to nearby towns such as Joplin, Branson, Springfield, Tulsa, Silver Dollar City, all of which are in or near southwest Missouri. In the eighth episode of season 8, named "Manhattan Hillbillies," Granny tells the police officer in Central Park that her family comes from Taney County (there is a Taney County in southwest Missouri). Early episodes also contained several references to Eureka Springs, which is in northwest Arkansas. All of these communities are in mountainous portions (the Ozarks) of the Southern United States. The character accents, initial poverty, and existence of oil, however, are all more consistent with an Appalachian origin, much farther east. The show's creator and producer, Paul Henning is from Independence, Missouri, and donated 1,534 acres (621 ha) for the Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area near Branson.[4]

We gave the world the Judds, Dukes of Hazard, the Hatfields & the McCoys, and apparently First 48 is a regular feature here.
Tennessee gave us an endless amount of bad music.
I'd say that both states equally suck in terms of presenting horrible "entertainment" to the masses.
Although we do get some points back for Stripes, Walking tall, and for giving the world Larry Flynt. Elvis, and Muhammad Ali.

I don't think KY was the setting for the Dukes of Hazard. Georgia maybe? Don't recall, but I loved that show as a kid.

Wow, you praise the Judds (seriously?) and then slam TN for creating Blues, Rock 'N Roll, R&B, and Country music...and then on top of that, you steal Elvis from us? What the crazy **** are you smoking?!

Re-read again. Read very carefully. Then read carefully again. Then get back to me.
Reading is fundamental...
