About 90% of accredited colleges and universities in the US would enforce selective race/gender quotas even if the President specifically told them Not to. This letter (signed by an Assistant US Att'y General) wasn't so much telling colleges what to do, as it was reassuring them they won't be sued by the Justice Department for continuing with the status quo.

Which is just another example of "Since I don't like this law, I'm instructing those that work for me to not enforce it." Instead of changing or adopting a new law, meh, ignore that law..........

Because Obama does not get to pick and choose what laws to defend... Unless of course he wants to...

Impeachable

In New York State, new gun control legislation (SAFE Act) imposes restrictions on gun ownership. Many upstate sheriffs have indicated they would not enforce the law leading liberals to call for the sheriffs to be removed from office. Funny how liberals are selective on which laws they want enforced and which they want ignored.

Oh and before one of the pinheads posts that conservatives are supporting the sheriffs on this and other issues, such as immigration enforcement, allow me to stipulate that yes the pendulum does swing both ways.
