Too soon? Might as well since you guys are all depressed about the football season going the way that everybody knew that it was going to go anyway. Basketball is going to be a lot more interesting this year with Memphis gone. I am not familiar with some of the newer teams like UTSA, but I seem to recall that a couple of years ago they were in the tournament.

My picks are as follows and they are just guesses, since I really only know about the retuning CUSA teams, Charlotte, MTSU and ODU:

My guess is you have the correct Top 8 teams but they won't finish in exactly that order.

If UAB gets what it thinks it has in Chad Frazier at point guard. The rest is history. Guard play was the prob. I think its solved. Just gonna show up to Bartow and watch my blazers make these preseason predictions look silly.

If USM can keep up what they have had past few years, this might be the year they have a big breakout. What are you expecting USM fans?

Utsa will be in the cellar. Basketball isn't our game.

We lost a few guys but we are expecting a great season!

UAB isn't a lower half type team in any league We might have a bad year here or there, but I think we'll be back in the top 4-5 of CUSA this season.

We will have, barring injuries, 10 good players who can play. A little more size, but no Jonathan Mills. It will be interesting.

We might be last again but we'll be better than last year (which isn't tough when you only won 5 games last year). We lost our best player and perhaps our 2nd best player transferred out. But we return everyone else and add a pretty decent freshmen class. I think we'll be among the bottom two or three teams in the conference but we'll be more competitive overall.

C-usa is a stronger league

I think we were able to sneak up on some teams last year. I don't think that will happen this year, but I believe we will be successful.
