Not that it matters, but one of the most vocal college critics of non-P5 conferences has no clue what teams are in the American, C-USA or anywhere else. Just shows the depth of his ignorance, and his lack of credibility about the conferences he bashes, including us.

I'm not sure who us in CUSA this year and my school is in it.

People don't know how true of a statement that is. For the longest time I thought Texas State was in CUSA, until about a month ago when I learned that a school named UTSA rather than Texas State was in CUSA. I also thought that ODU and Charlotte were in CUSA, but apparently they are in CUSA for everything, except football; which will not happen until 2014 or 2015.

Herbstreit was on our campus for College Gameday two years ago and talked all about the move from CUSA to the Big East. It was scripted, he knows what conference everybody is in and was just being an *******.

It's a mass delusion, induced by these chucklehucks.

Also, I think C-USA v3.5 will be pretty decent... in 2023, maybe, but the potential's there and I think their choices were pretty smart.

Give it a few years

Yeah, and they aren't paid to cover college football. Not to mention, UCF and Houston have been in CUSA for years, more than a few, so there is no way in hell he shouldn't know that. Either he's a complete idiot, or a complete jerk. Or both.

You're missing the point. Fowler asked, "Who are the NEW teams in C-USA? I'm pretty sure you know that UCF and Houston aren't NEW C-USA teams, right?

Herb Street isn't funny. It's a tired act he's playing. And Cincinnati is kicking the butt of his beloved B1G.

Ohio State is hearing Bearcat footsteps coming up from behind them ... and they're nervous.

Herbstreit is a wimp. He got too skittish about OSU fans who would hound him about hs commentary, that he had to move to Kentucky. The man has no insight at all and just simply looks good while reading a teleprompter.

Maybe the next show Chris can aks Herbstreit why Purdue is more deserving of more $$$$ than a lot of G5 teams, such as UC for example (based on the 42-7 thrashing Purdue received today).

These shows are scripted. When Fowler throws a question like that to Herbrstreit, it's not "off the cuff." It was a set up, apparently designed to slam two birds (C-USA and the American Conference) with one barb.

If it was scripted, odds are none of those 4 clowns would have wrote that question...which means a researcher/assistant producer would have.

There are not 4 new teams in CUSA, there are SIX.

That bit was blown up before it started.

Fox Sports 1's writers have also had moments of being in preseason form - on the same episode of Fox Sports Live, a graphic said that Head Coach Brian Kelly had departed Notre Dame, and a few minutes later, misspelled a player's name.
