Not that it matters, but one of the most vocal college critics of non-P5 conferences has no clue what teams are in the American, C-USA or anywhere else. Just shows the depth of his ignorance, and his lack of credibility about the conferences he bashes, including us.

Eh... Can't say I'm surprised anymore. Got to say the ESPN coverage has been a double edged sword this week.

Herbstreit's job is to watch tap on the games he does commentary on and comment on national title contenders. If he doesn't know who we are, it's because we haven't done anything to get us in the national spotlight.

These shows are scripted. When Fowler throws a question like that to Herbrstreit, it's not "off the cuff." It was a set up, apparently designed to slam two birds (C-USA and the American Conference) with one barb.

I'm not naive to the little tricks played, just pointing out that Herbstreit continues to be one of the worst offenders.
