Being that UTEP is far from other schools, we hardly get any visiting fans.

Well then, what's with the constant claims of 48k in the stands? DON'T pause at 11 seconds and you'll see that both sides of the stadium have large empty sections....if that's the 50k version of the stadium then there are about 30k in their seats; considerably less than that if it's the 43k version of your stadium.

Every school in America counts tickets sold or whatever makes them look the best so it's all RELATIVE to each other. So regardless ECU already had the fans money and sold the tickets in the season packages well because we sell more season tickets than USM and Marshall even draws fans some years. That was also a Friday November game on Thanksgiving weekend which are the worst drawing games in the nation every year.

Bottomline is if our attendances says 47k for the year and yours says 24k, it's all relative anyway because you and every other school count tickets sold or whatever will make you look the best too and we still have a fanbase that puts you all to shame. I'm sure it's a coincidence that I think the 2 years ever combined USM and Marshall have drawn 30k in a season they drew like 30,012. Just barely enough to crack 30k....Yeah...
