Agreed. The quest for a #1 bowl is over. Now we have to fall back and concentrate on getting as many bowls against the P5 as possible. I'm hoping for 5.

I thought the hunt for a #1 bowl was over when Aresco (or a media report) said our champ would float to the best available bowl.

About a month ago Aresco said Memphis was the geographical center of the conference and that the Liberty would thus be a natural fit for our champ.

Exactly what do you think he has to sell at this point. We do not have any elite football programs, Hell we don't have any top 25 programs to sell. People here like to knock the ACC, but bottom line the ACC has at least 8 or 9 schools that any bowl would love before they take anyone from the AAC.

The AAC does not have any FSU, UM, Clemson, Ga Tech, ND, VTech, NC, NC states to sell. We want better bowls, then we better take a couple of the current schools and elevate them to top 30 programs.
