By the same logic Louisville fans should be waging a jihad against The Big 12 because WVU got the blessed invite ahead of UofL. Instead Louisville fans are ecstatic that The Big 12 turned them down.
Bottom line is WVU and UofL both got what they wanted, a way out of The Big East.

As for the WVU scout board's Big 12 Conference forum, I almost never visit. It's mostly populated by hardcore nutcases, and their groupies. I only take a look once in a while, out of morbid curiosity - or whenever I really need a laugh...

It should have been six.... The PAC was foolish to turn down OU and OSU.

Blame that on the West Coast's "Ivory Towers" of Stanford and Cal, who are very much academic elitists. If USC hadn't really forced those two to admit Arizona State and Arizona as members, the Pac 12 would have still been at 8 members.

Thanks Bit...I look at it like this...if are one the 65 schools that are Notre Dame or in one of the leagues that are in a contact league u can't complain...u are in a good spot.

Just so that you guys know. MHver, AtomicNoodle and Eerlaw hardly ever post over at the WVU site anymore. That's what happens when someone goes TOO public with their theories.

There are quite a few quality posters over there and it is hardly just a West Virginia crowd. Wouldn't mind seeing some of the folks over there show up here. Of course I am sure some of you with your agenda will say that is all nonsense but I have 1500+ posts over there. Pretty sure I know better.

There are some folks there that some of you here would like to focus all the attention on and quite frankly there are plenty that I just cant stand. For your information, the majority of the WVU posters there actually just want the three listed above to stop with their "prophecies". Most of them cant wait for football season to start back up so all the off season realignment jargon can end and real football discussion can pick back up.

Seriously folks, when you are reading the propaganda some folks are spreading about an entire school based on the ramblings of a small number of persons...take a look at the person(s) trying to make such a big deal of it and ask yourself why they might be doing such.

Most folks over at that WVU site are good folks and are just fine with there being five power conferences. They are more interested in all the discussion about a new NCAA division, not realignment. Most of them dont think anymore moves will happen. Believe what you will though. I just hate to see such blatant ignorance being peddled to the silent readers and guests of this forum.
