This is not like the ones before because the Liberty Bowl had not previously stiffed the conference in which Memphis was playing. The decision by the Liberty Bowl to go with the SEC - and it will be a 8th-9th place SEC team instead of the AAC 1st place team, should tell everyone what some of us have been saying for years - the city of Memphis uses our university for their gain & to the detriment of our university. Here we have our university propping-up the Liberty Bowl stadium by being the tenant who makes the bowl game and all other events at the Liberty Bowl stadium possible, yet decisions continually use the resources of our university without due consideration to our university. Personally I have been sick of it for 50 years or more (and even longer but I wasn't around to know) since our university first became the means by which the city could make it feasible to build Crump Stadium. Thereafter the same logic for the Mid-south Coliseum, the initial expansion to the Cook Convention Center, Memphis Memorial Stadium (Liberty Bowl), the Pyramid & the FedX forum. Without the funds provided by our university none of those facilities would have been built.

IT'S TIME TO MOVE OUR ACTIVITIES TO ON-CAMPUS FACILITIES!. We need to get an on-campus stadium and basketball facility in the university long term plan - an it needs to be done now! I'm with GA on this one.....

The collapse of the Big East and losing anything like a big TV revenue deal pretty well killed an OCS for now. Anything can happen but it ain't looking good.

Multiple...and I mean multiple copies of the report can be found on this site that adequately answer each of these questions. A Google search should turn up a copy or two as well.

If we can't build a stadium on campus now then we start with a State of the Arts Football training Facilty as nice as the one of UTK and Alabama's....And Heres a great Idea get the City of Memphis to help pay for it some, since they use our services in the LBS....All for one, One for all, All for Memphis...The World Is Ours Memphis....

We are planning on a 25mm Brand New BB Facility and 14 for IPF, I say Hell make it 25 MM brand new BB Facility and 30 MM for Football Training Facility and make it as nice or nicer than that of UTK and Alabama's and Make A Statement....Yea that's right Build a Football Training Facility Even nicer than those two, and Make a Statement....All for one, One for all, All for Memphis....The World Is Ours Memphis....

Right now we are in the process of catching up with many smaller school with practice facilities. There is only so much money available and an OCS is way down the list of things we need to compete.

How about providing free bus service to all of the students from the campus to the stadium? Make it an event and drive the students up to the front gate. The students will make it fun and encourage others to follow.

I know we're a small school compared to sa UT and Alabama...but is that enough room TC?
