Mac -- Get a grip!

Mac is a really cool guy for those of you who don't know him. He was the person that broke the news of UTSA joining C-USA. Most of us die hard Runner fans turn to Mac when there is info we can't find or just don't want to spend the time. But Mac is FAR from confrontational. Just not his personality.

There have been many instances on here where a few take things too far with what they say about a particular school (whether they disagree with the opinions of the fans from another school(s) or they just plain don't like other school(s)) that it eventually turns the thread into a thread of a bunch of smack talk and pissing matches; this consequently forces the moderators of the C-USA forum to move the thread into the "CUSA Smack Talk" sub-forum.

If you don't like a particular school and/or don't like reading the opinions of the fans from another school (or whatever reason it may be), that's fine, you're entitled to think however you want. However, that doesn't justify writing hateful and harsh comments in threads about a school and its fans so thus turning the nature of a thread into a smack talk-like environment. So guys, stop it! Conference USA is what it is for the time being so just get used to seeing your C-USA brethren post on here.

Smack talk is not necessary in this forum!

If you want to talk smack, go to the "CUSA Smack Talk" sub-forum and start a thread on there and talk as much smack as you want but don't come into this forum (i.e. the main C-USA forum) and turn existing threads on here into threads with smack talk-like behavior; that doesn't need to happen.

Seriously, your grammar is horrible, your title needs to read Stop turning threads into smack threads, not as smack threads. I am very insulted by this and therefoream talking smack about your sentence structure.

1. What in the world are you talking about? The thread title is fine. Maybe you're the one that needs to be reminded about grammar.

2. The "here" that I'm referring to is the C-USA forum that you and I are currently on.

3. If you continue commenting in a rude and disrespectful tone, I will report you.

I hope you are joking as he was but for some reason I'm thinking you're talking this way too seriously. As much as we all argue and have fun Id buy all these people a beer or 10. Well minus the UCFers but I doubt anyone would buy them anything either.

I'm not into lashing out at others and whatnot nor instigating arguments into forums. Jabs and banter is one thing where one can have fun with it (and it is to be expected) but being downright hateful and straight out disrespectful is another thing. I also don't like when there's misinformation out there so if it is about something UTSA-related for example, I will make sure that I post the correct and accurate response to whatever it is that is being stated on the forum (if it hasn't been caught and corrected by anybody else).
