Yeah, and the 350lb chick that wins the lottery is on the news AFTER winning the lottery.

Well said. I guess he doesn't understand this is offseason press.

Heinicke is articulate. He did well with those questions.

Except it'll be more like 40/40 haha because no way we'll only throw 16 times. haha

40 for 40 would be nice, but almost impossible. The 16 for 16 was the start of the game until SVP said he did what any grown man would do and restart the game. It wasn't just 16 attempts for the entire game, just until SVP had enough of Taylor dominating him.

Our team is closeknit group but I'm sure cusa is glad taylor is in their league. He is a great spkoesman f odu our team and cusa. His stas are impressive with the receivers and he reads well on other teams. I believe odu is allowed to compete early for cusa championship because of our fan base and just the overall package we have right now. Its okay to not win all the games just make a statement and keep moving forward. I think odu is gonna be a sleeper team for next year.

I love how jmu had to troll. Let's hope ecu vs jmu is somewhere in the cards for both fanbases.

Next we'll get a GMU fan in here telling us all about what happened after their Final Four run in 2006...

Guys, it's 2013... it's about the next game (not about your accomplishments back in ancient history)

Hilarious, a jmu fan showing up to talk about that one moment in the sun when anyone ever cared about what happened in the the foothills of Harrisonburg.

Far more people cared about VT losing that one game to jmu than who actually cared about jmu and how the rest of that season went for them.

Jmu had its one day in the sun......we're trying to make every day a sunny day. Heinicke has the moxie to get us there, you can hear it in his radio interview. He is a confident young kid and he has every right to be, the Caa wasn't a joke.

But it is now......and we're moving on to big time things, as evidenced by a SVP national interview of our junior qb during the OFFSEASON.

And the video game references are just that much sweeter, when you're trying to recruit 16-17 year old kids to come play in a year or so. I wonder when that espn radio piece about whoever jmu's qb is this year is coming out? Our recruiting advantage is going to be absurd. Good luck to jmu in whatever conference they land in. I like what we've got building here very much.

Ps nick cattles.....that's how you do an interview.

It was a great interview. To be fair, the first part of the quote you chose to use was, "if you're 6'3" you're playing in the SEC." SVP in no way said "end up at ODU as a shot at our program. It sure didn't sound like a shot to me, and there is probably a lot of truth to the statement.

most of his normal audience probably haven't heard of ODU and those who have probably view it as an after thought especially regarding FB. we've come a long way, but if he's implying (and I think he was) that if he was 3-4 inches taller he'd be at a more established CFB powerhouse. as much success as we've had, we are not that.

Yeah this is a national show.....odu isn't exactly a "football power" to the rest of the country......

YET. Lets hope our guys change that real soon. I had no problem with the phrasing, we got a Walter Payton award winner as a sophomore......I'm sure SVP isn't the only one wondering how he ended up "at odu".

SVP and RR are two of the best interviewers out. Colloquial and entertaining.

Hell, I've wondered that since day 1.
