Our qb, drew dudzik, was on multiple espn shows, including sports center, the week after we beat Virginia tech.

Hah wow. But I think to his point if we come out the gates our first season and take down a fbs team we can expect the same kind of national exposure.

They talked about the video game. Like finalcloud said, SVP was playing as Maryland against ODU and Heinicke was 16/16, and SVP restarted his game lol. Joked about Heinicke's in-game facial hair and receding hair line.
Talked about the UNH game and how impressive that comeback was.
Then SVP asked Heinicke about how ODU is approaching this season, since they're going to be FBS next season. Taylor said that they want to go to ECU and everywhere else and make a statement to other FBS schools - whether that be by playing them close or even winning.
Gotta love it.

My ESPN Radio ap was apparently not live. They were talking about Yasiel Puig. Anyone know if that was before the Heinicke spot?

ODU got almost six minutes of National coverage today, and it's just beginning. We could not ask for a better representative for ODU than Taylor Heinicke. TH always gives the credit to those around him and never seeks it for himself, he's such a class act.

It was a good low-key interview and Heinicke handled it very well. Now if the Monarchs can just translate that 16 for 16 start to the real world on 08/31/13!
